Your resume is perfect, you nailed your interviews, and received an offer for the internship of your dreams. Internships can provide excellent experience within the field that you are pursuing. Not only that, but they often lead to full time positions if executed properly. What you wear can say a lot about you. As an intern its important to look professional. But that doesn't mean you have to lose your sense of style.

Whether you are working in a corporate or casual environment, here are some outfits I created to make sure you look your best at work this summer.

All outfits are courtesy of Express aka my favorite place to get all of my work attire essentials.

1) Traditional Business Attire

I love this grey suit from Express. It's super flattering and fits perfectly. Adding a simple light pink blouse is girly but professional enough to wear at work. Wearing colorful jewelry is an easy way to keep your work outfit looking fun. Kendra Scott has an amazing summer 2018 collection. This lilac set is great to wear at work or when going out.

2) Mainstream Casual / Casual Fridays

Casual Fridays are golden. If your internship allows you to participate in casual Friday, you can expect to be able to wear jeans with a nice blouse. I love this speckled gold blouse from Express. I'm obsessed with Kendra Scott's new hoops in rose gold. Throw on a simple cardigan and necklace and your'e ready to work for the weekend.

3) Classic Executive Attire

Pencil skirts are a great staple to have in your work wardrobe. I love this one in charcoal grey because it goes with so much. You can dress skirts like this one up or down simply by changing shirts. Adding a classic striped blouse like this one is cute and polished. I think it looks great with this mother of pearl Kendra Scott set.You could also pair this skirt with a more casual blouse and cardigan if your company has a more relaxed dress code.

4) Boardroom Attire

Everyone needs a black suit and a simple white collared shirt. These items are so versatile in the business world. I wear my black suit to interviews or to major presentations. Wearing a little bit of red jewelry is feminine and alludes to passion and power.

Wherever you're working this summer, I hope you learn a lot from the people around you and gain insight from the projects you will work on. Check out www.express.com for more work attire staples! I am so excited to work for L'Oreal's regional distribution center this summer!! As a supply chain management major with a love for makeup and hair products, you could say that I scored the internship of my dreams. I'm sure I will be wearing some (or all) of the looks above.

Good luck!
